English Translation
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Allah Does Not Commit Injustice
(In the Light of the Noble Qur’an)
-
تِلْكَ ءَايَـٰتُ ٱللَّهِ نَتْلُوهَا عَلَيْكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۗ وَمَا ٱللَّهُ يُرِيدُ ظُلْمًا لِّلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
Transliteration: Tilka āyātu Allāhi natlūhā ʿalayka bil-ḥaqqi, wa mā Allāhu yurīdu ẓulman lil-ʿālamīn
Translation: “And Allah does not intend injustice for the worlds.” (Al-Imran :108)
-
مَثَلُ مَا يُنفِقُونَ فِى هَـٰذِهِ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا كَمَثَلِ رِيحٍ فِيهَا صِرٌّ أَصَابَتْ حَرْثَ قَوْمٍ ظَلَمُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ فَأَهْلَكَتْهُ ۚ وَمَا ظَلَمَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَلَـٰكِنْ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ
Transliteration: Mathalu mā yunfiqūna fī hādhihi al-ḥayāti al-dunyā kamathali rīḥin fīhā ṣirr(un) aṣābat ḥartha qawmin ẓalamū anfusahum fa-ahlakat-hu, wa mā ẓalamahumu Allāhu walākin anfusahum yaẓlimūn
Translation: “The example of what they spend in this worldly life is like a wind containing severe cold which strikes the harvest of a people who wronged themselves and destroys it; and Allah did not wrong them, but they wrong themselves.” (Al-Imran :117)

ذَٰلِكَ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَيْسَ بِظَلَّامٍ لِّلْعَبِيدِ
Transliteration: Dhālika bimā qaddamat aydīkum wa anna Allāha laysa biẓallāmin lil-ʿabīd
Translation: “This is the recompense for what your hands have sent forth, and Allah does not commit injustice against His servants.” (Al-Imran :182)

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَظْلِمُ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ ۖ وَإِن تَكُ حَسَنَةً يُضَـٰعِفْهَا وَيُؤْتِ مِن لَّدُنْهُ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا
Transliteration: Inna Allāha lā yaẓlimu mithqāla dharratin, wa in taku ḥasanatan yuḍāʿif-hā wa yuʾti min ladun-hu ajran ʿaẓīmā
Translation: “Allah does not wrong even the weight of an atom; and if it is a good deed, He multiplies it and grants from Himself a great reward.” (An-Nisa :40)

ذَٰلِكَ أَن لَّمْ يَكُن رَّبُّكَ مُهْلِكَ ٱلْقُرَىٰ بِظُلْمٍ وَأَهْلُهَا غَـٰفِلُونَ
Transliteration: Dhālika an lam yakun rabbuka muhlika al-qurā biẓulmin wa ahluhā ghāfilūn
Translation: “This is because your Lord would not destroy the towns unjustly while their people were unaware.” (Al-Anʿam :131)

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَظْلِمُ ٱلنَّاسَ شَيْـًٔا وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱلنَّاسَ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ
Transliteration: Inna Allāha lā yaẓlimu al-nās shayʾan walākinna al-nās anfusahum yaẓlimūn
Translation: “Allah does not wrong people at all, but people wrong themselves.” (Yunus :44)
-
وَلَا نُكَلِّفُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا ۖ وَلَدَيْنَا كِتَـٰبٌ يَنطِقُ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۚ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ
Transliteration: Wa lā nukallifu nafsan illā wusʿahā, wa ladaynā kitābun yanṭiqu bil-ḥaqqi wa hum lā yuẓlamūn
Translation: “We do not burden any soul beyond its capacity; and with Us is a Book that speaks the truth, and they will not be wronged.” (Al-Mu’minun :62)

وَخَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَلِتُجْزَىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍۭ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ
Transliteration: Wa khalaqa Allāhu al-samāwāti wa al-arḍa bil-ḥaqqi wa li-tujzā kullu nafsin bimā kasabat wa hum lā yuẓlamūn
Translation: “Allah created the heavens and the earth with truth so that every soul may be recompensed for what it earned, and they will not be wronged.” (Al-Jathiyah :22)

وَلِكُلٍّ دَرَجَـٰتٌ مِّمَّا عَمِلُوا۟ ۖ وَلِيُوَفِّيَهُمْ أَعْمَـٰلَهُمْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ
Transliteration: Wa li-kullin darajātun mimmā ʿamilū wa li-yuwaffiyahum aʿmālahum wa hum lā yuẓlamūn
Translation: “For everyone are ranks according to what they did, so that He may fully recompense them for their deeds, and they will not be wronged.” (Al-Ahqaf :19)
-
وَٱتَّقُوا۟ يَوْمًا تُرْجَعُونَ فِيهِ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ ۖ ثُمَّ تُوَفَّىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ
Transliteration: Wa ittaqū yawman turjaʿūna fīhi ilā Allāh, thumma tuwaffā kullu nafsin mā kasabat wa hum lā yuẓlamūn
Translation: “And fear the Day when you will be returned to Allah; then every soul will be fully repaid for what it earned, and they will not be wronged.” (Al-Baqarah :281)

لَا يُكَلِّفُ ٱللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا ۚ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَعَلَيْهَا مَا ٱكْتَسَبَتْ
Transliteration: Lā yukallifu Allāhu nafsan illā wusʿahā, lahā mā kasabat wa ʿalayhā mā iktasabat
Translation: “Allah does not burden any soul beyond its capacity. It will have what it earned, and against it will be what it committed.” (Al-Baqarah :286)
-
وَمَا كَانَ لِنَبِىٍّ أَن يَغُلَّ ۚ وَمَن يَغْلُلْ يَأْتِ بِمَا غَلَّ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۚ ثُمَّ تُوَفَّىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ
Transliteration: Wa mā kāna li-nabiyyin an yaghulla, wa man yaghlul yaʾti bimā ghalla yawma al-qiyāmah, thumma tuwaffā kullu nafsin mā kasabat wa hum lā yuẓlamūn
Translation: “It is not possible for a prophet to commit betrayal; and whoever betrays will bring what he betrayed on the Day of Resurrection. Then every soul will be fully repaid for what it earned, and they will not be wronged.” (Al-Imran :161)

مَنْ جَآءَ بِالْحَسَنَةِ فَلَهٗ عَشْرُ اَمْثَالِهَاۚ-وَ مَنْ جَآءَ بِالسَّیِّئَةِ فَلَا یُجْزٰۤى اِلَّا مِثْلَهَا وَ هُمْ لَا یُظْلَمُوْنَ
Transliteration: Man jāʾa bil-ḥasanati fa-lahu ʿashru amthālihā, wa man jāʾa bil-sayyiʾati fa-lā yujzā illā mithlahā wa hum lā yuẓlamūn
Translation: “Whoever brings a good deed will have ten like it, and whoever brings an evil deed will be recompensed only with its like, and they will not be wronged.” (Al-Anʿam :160)

وَلِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ رَّسُولٌ ۖ فَإِذَا جَآءَ رَسُولُهُمْ قُضِىَ بَيْنَهُم بِٱلْقِسْطِ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ
Transliteration: Wa li-kulli ummatin rasūl, fa-idhā jāʾa rasūluhum quḍiya baynahum bil-qisṭi wa hum lā yuẓlamūn
Translation: “For every nation there is a messenger; then when their messenger comes, judgment is passed between them with justice, and they are not wronged.” (Yunus :47)

وَلَوْ أَنَّ لِكُلِّ نَفْسٍ ظَلَمَتْ مَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ لَٱفْتَدَتْ بِهِۦ ۗ وَأَسَرُّوا۟ ٱلنَّدَامَةَ لَمَّا رَأَوُا۟ ٱلْعَذَابَ ۚ وَقُضِىَ بَيْنَهُم بِٱلْقِسْطِ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ
Transliteration: Wa law anna li-kulli nafsin ẓalamat mā fī al-arḍi la-iftadat bih, wa asarrū al-nadāmata lammā raʾaw al-ʿadhāb, wa quḍiya baynahum bil-qisṭi wa hum lā yuẓlamūn
Translation: “If every soul that wronged had all that is on earth, it would ransom itself with it; and they will conceal their regret when they see the punishment, and judgment will be passed between them with justice, and they will not be wronged.” (Yunus :54)

هَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّآ أَن تَأْتِيَهُمُ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ أَوْ يَأْتِىَ أَمْرُ رَبِّكَ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ فَعَلَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ وَمَا ظَلَمَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَلَـٰكِن كَانُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ
Transliteration: Hal yanẓurūna illā an taʾtiyahumu al-malāʾikatu aw yaʾtiya amru rabbik, kadhālika faʿala alladhīna min qablihim, wa mā ẓalamahumu Allāhu walākin kānū anfusahum yaẓlimūn
Translation: “Are they waiting except that the angels come to them or the command of your Lord comes? Thus did those before them do; and Allah did not wrong them, but they wronged themselves.” (An-Nahl :33)

وَعَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ هَادُوا۟ حَرَّمْنَا مَا قَصَصْنَا عَلَيْكَ مِن قَبْلُ ۖ وَمَا ظَلَمْنَـٰهُمْ وَلَـٰكِن كَانُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ
Transliteration: Wa ʿalā alladhīna hādū ḥarramnā mā qaṣaṣnā ʿalayka min qablu, wa mā ẓalamnāhum walākin kānū anfusahum yaẓlimūn
Translation: “And upon the Jews We made unlawful what We related to you before; and We did not wrong them, but they used to wrong themselves.” (An-Nahl :118)
-
يَوْمَ نَدْعُوا۟ كُلَّ أُنَاسٍۢ بِإِمَـٰمِهِمْ ۖ فَمَنْ أُوتِىَ كِتَـٰبَهُۥ بِيَمِينِهِۦ فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ يَقْرَءُونَ كِتَـٰبَهُمْ وَلَا يُظْلَمُونَ فَتِيلًا
Transliteration: Yawma nadʿū kulla unāsin bi-imāmihim, fa-man ūtiya kitābahu biyamīnihi fa-ulāʾika yaqraʾūna kitābahum wa lā yuẓlamūna fatīlā
Translation: “On the Day We shall call every people with their leader; then whoever is given his record in his right hand — they will read their record, and they will not be wronged even to the extent of a thread.” (Bani-Isra’il :71)

وَنَضَعُ ٱلْمَوَٰزِينَ ٱلْقِسْطَ لِيَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ فَلَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌ شَيْـًٔا ۖ وَإِن كَانَ مِثْقَالَ حَبَّةٍۢ مِّنْ خَرْدَلٍ أَتَيْنَا بِهَا ۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِنَا حَـٰسِبِينَ
Transliteration: Wa naḍaʿu al-mawāzīna al-qisṭa li-yawmi al-qiyāmah fa-lā tuẓlamu nafsun shayʾā, wa in kāna mithqāla ḥabbatin min khardalin ataynā bihā, wa kafā binā ḥāsibīn
Translation: “We shall set up the scales of justice for the Day of Resurrection, so no soul will be wronged at all; even if it be the weight of a mustard seed, We shall bring it forth, and sufficient are We as Reckoners.” (Al-Anbiya :47)

ذَٰلِكَ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ يَدَاكَ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَيْسَ بِظَلَّـٰمٍ لِّلْعَبِيدِ
Transliteration: Dhālika bimā qaddamat yadāka wa anna Allāha laysa biẓallāmin lil-ʿabīd
Translation: “That is because of what your hands have sent forth, and Allah is not unjust to His servants.” (Al-Hajj :10)
-
وَمَا كُنَّا مُهْلِكِى ٱلْقُرَىٰٓ إِلَّا وَأَهْلُهَا ظَـٰلِمُونَ
Transliteration: Wa mā kunnā muhlikī al-qurā illā wa ahluhā ẓālimūn
Translation: “We do not destroy towns except when their people are wrongdoers.” (Al-Qasas :59)
-
فَٱلْيَوْمَ لَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌ شَيْـًٔا وَلَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
Transliteration: Fa-al-yawma lā tuẓlamu nafsun shayʾā wa lā tujzawna illā mā kuntum taʿmalūn
Translation: “So today no soul will be wronged at all, and you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do.” (Ya-Sin :54)
-
مَا يُبَدَّلُ ٱلْقَوْلُ لَدَىَّ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ بِظَلَّـٰمٍ لِّلْعَبِيدِ
Transliteration: Mā yubaddalu al-qawlu ladayya wa mā anā biẓallāmin lil-ʿabīd
Translation: “The word is not changed with Me, and I am not unjust to the servants.” (Qaf :29)
