Supplications That Are Especially Accepted

Abu al-Darda رضي الله عنه narrates that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The supplication a Muslim makes for his brother in his absence is accepted. There is an angel appointed beside him; whenever he supplicates for his brother with goodness, the angel says: May Allah accept this supplication for you, and may He grant you similar goodness.
(Sahih Muslim)

Abu Hurayrah رضي الله عنه narrates that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: There are three supplications that are certainly accepted and there is no doubt regarding their acceptance: the supplication of parents for their child, the supplication of a traveler, and the supplication of the oppressed.
(Jami al-Tirmidhi, Sunan Abi Dawud, Sunan Ibn Majah)

Jabir رضي الله عنه narrates: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: In the night there is a particular time during which, if a believing servant asks Allah for any good of this world or the Hereafter, Allah surely grants it. This distinction is not confined to any specific night; rather, this grace of Allah occurs every night.
(Sahih Muslim)

People have become heedless of Allah, and as a result they are afflicted with restlessness and hardship. Whenever a person disobeys Allah, the soul becomes uneasy; if the soul had the ability to speak, its cries would shatter stones. When the soul is so restless, how can true peace be found in wrongdoing? Those who claim that music is nourishment for the soul have fallen into self-deception — finding comfort in sin and opposing the command of Allah. Allah has declared that hearts find tranquility in the remembrance of Allah.

Sin originates from human beings themselves, and Allah loves those servants who fall into sin out of ignorance and then repent. However, persisting stubbornly in sin and continuing it deliberately is disliked by Allah. Therefore, whoever is habitually engaged in wrongdoing should abandon it; and if unable to abandon it immediately, then at least ask Allah for guidance: O Allah, grant me the ability to refrain from this evil. Thereafter, Allah will arrange the means of guidance Himself, by His grace, In shaa Allah.

A humble request: make it a habit to recite the words
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ
and
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ

While walking in the market, recite them quietly; while sitting in the office, recite them; whenever free time is found, recite them. This is not a difficult task — whether in a state of wudu or without it, and in any pure place, these words may be recited. Numerous authentic Hadith mention the virtues of these words. Once a person becomes accustomed to them, their blessings begin to manifest.
